Overview
Why Two Separate Accounts
The Problem
One Account Cannot Serve Two Audiences
Recruits are 21–45 year-olds looking for a career change. Annuity clients are 50–65+ pre-retirees looking to protect their savings. When a 58-year-old veteran with $400K in his TSP lands on your profile and sees posts about “join my team,” he thinks MLM and leaves. That’s a $12,000 commission gone. Separate accounts = laser-focused messaging = higher conversions on both sides.
Account 1 — Recruiting
Build Your Agency
Ages 21–45 • Career changers, [your niche] • Entrepreneurship & income opportunity messaging • VSSL: recruiting presentation • Revenue: overrides (long-term)
Account 2 — Annuity Clients
Generate Client Revenue
Ages 50–65+ • Pre-retirees, [your niche] w/ retirement savings, [your niche] near retirement • Education & trust messaging • VSSL: retirement protection presentation • Revenue: $3K–$15K+ per case
Your annuity account should be your PRIMARY personal brand — that's where the bigger immediate money is. Your recruiting account is your GROWTH engine for long-term agency overrides.
Chapter One
Setting Up Two Instagram Accounts
Instagram allows up to 5 accounts from one phone. You can switch between them in one tap. Here’s exactly how to create and configure both.
This is your main professional brand. Use your real name or professional brand name. If you already have a personal IG account, convert it to this one.
- Open Instagram on your phone
- If converting existing account: go to Settings > Edit Profile to update
- If creating new: tap profile picture (bottom right) > tap username > “Add Account” > “Create New Account”
- Switch to Professional Account > Business
- Category: Financial Service or Insurance Agent
| Setting | What to Enter |
| Username | @[yourname]financial or @[yourname]retires |
| Full Name | Your Name | Retirement Specialist |
| Profile Pic | Professional headshot (suit / business casual) |
| Bio Line 1 | Helping [your niche] families protect retirement savings |
| Bio Line 2 | Annuities • TSP Rollovers • Tax-Advantaged Retirement |
| Bio Line 3 | Licensed with 25+ A-rated carriers |
| Bio CTA | ↓ Free retirement analysis — tap below |
| Link | GHL landing page with retirement consultation calendar |
This is your agency-building brand. Speaks to younger career changers. Use a SEPARATE email address (create a new Gmail if needed).
- On Instagram: tap profile pic > tap username > “Add Account” > “Create New Account”
- Sign up with a separate email (e.g. [email protected])
- Switch to Professional > Business
- Category: Entrepreneur or Business Service
| Setting | What to Enter |
| Username | @[yourname]careers or @[yourname]financial |
| Full Name | Your Name | Agency Builder |
| Profile Pic | Same professional headshot (brand consistency) |
| Bio Line 1 | Helping [your niche] professionals build 6-figure financial careers |
| Bio Line 2 | Former [your background] → Agency Owner |
| Bio Line 3 | [Personal identity] • Agency Builder • [Your City, ST] |
| Bio CTA | ↓ DM “MISSION” to learn more |
| Link | GHL landing page with recruiting calendar |
- Tap your profile picture (bottom right)
- Tap your username at the top of the screen
- Both accounts appear — tap to switch instantly
- Turn on notifications for BOTH accounts so you never miss a DM
CRITICAL: Before posting or replying to DMs, ALWAYS check which account you’re on. Posting a recruiting video to your annuity account will confuse your audience. Make it a habit to glance at the top of your screen.

You can manage both Facebook Pages from your personal account. Use Meta Business Suite (business.facebook.com) to schedule posts and view analytics from one dashboard. Keep the two pages clearly separate — never cross-post content.
Chapter Three
Meta Business Manager & Ad Accounts
One Business Manager. Two separate ad accounts. Two separate pixels. This keeps your data clean and lets each campaign optimize independently.
- Go to business.facebook.com
- Click “Create Account”
- Business name: “[Your Brand Name]”
- Enter your name and business email
- Submit — your Business Manager is live
Ad Account 1 — Annuity:
- Business Settings > Accounts > Ad Accounts > “Add” > Create new
- Name: “[Your Name] — Annuity Leads”
- Assign yourself as Admin, add payment method
Ad Account 2 — Recruiting:
- Same process: Ad Accounts > Add > Create new
- Name: “[Your Name] — Recruiting”
- Assign yourself as Admin, add payment method
- Business Settings > Accounts > Instagram Accounts
- Add your annuity Instagram → assign to your Annuity ad account
- Add your recruiting Instagram → assign to your Recruiting ad account
This ensures annuity ads show your annuity profile, and recruiting ads show your recruiting profile. Leads always see the right brand.
- Business Settings > Accounts > Pages > add both pages
- When creating campaigns, always select the correct page:
• Annuity campaigns → “[Your Name] — Retirement Solutions” page + annuity IG
• Recruiting campaigns → “[Your Name] Financial Careers” page + recruiting IG
Pixel 1 — Annuity: Data Sources > Pixels > Add > Name: “Annuity Pixel” > install on annuity landing page > assign to Annuity ad account
Pixel 2 — Recruiting: Same process > Name: “Recruiting Pixel” > install on recruiting landing page > assign to Recruiting ad account
Separate pixels mean each ad account builds its own data. Meta’s algorithm learns what an annuity prospect looks like separately from a recruit prospect. This makes both campaigns smarter over time.
Chapter Four
TikTok — Two Accounts
TikTok allows multiple accounts and is a powerful secondary channel. The income-based targeting makes it especially valuable for annuity leads.
- Download TikTok, sign up with your business email
- Username: @[yourname]retirement or @[yourname]financial
- Switch to Business Account: Profile > Settings > Account > Switch to Business > Financial Services
- Bio: Match your annuity Instagram bio
- Link: GHL landing page for retirement analysis
- In TikTok: Profile > Settings > Account > “Add Account”
- Sign up with your recruiting email
- Username: @[yourname]careers or @[yourname]financial
- Switch to Business Account > Business Consulting
- Bio: Match your recruiting Instagram bio
- Go to ads.tiktok.com
- Create advertiser account #1: “[Your Name] — Annuity” | Industry: Financial Services
- Create advertiser account #2: “[Your Name] — Recruiting” | Industry: Professional Services
- Add payment methods to both
TikTok may require business verification for financial services ads. Submit your state insurance license and GFI documentation if prompted. This can take 1–3 business days.
Chapter Five
GHL — Pipelines, Calendars & Automations
Two pipelines, two calendars, two automation sets, and a tagging system to keep everything organized.
Pipelines
Two Separate Pipelines in GHL
- Pipeline 1: “Recruiting Pipeline — GFI” (10 stages from recruiting playbook)
- Pipeline 2: “Annuity Client Pipeline” (10 stages from annuity playbook)
- Both live in GHL > Opportunities > Pipelines
- Every lead auto-tagged with “Source: Recruiting” or “Source: Annuity”
Calendars
Two Separate Booking Calendars
- Calendar 1: “Recruiting Interviews” — linked to recruiting landing page & VSSL
- Calendar 2: “Retirement Consultations” — linked to annuity landing page & VSSL
- Set different availability blocks if needed (recruiting AM, annuity PM)
- Each calendar has its own confirmation & reminder automations
| Automation | Recruiting Version | Annuity Version |
| Speed-to-Lead | “NEW RECRUIT LEAD” alert | “NEW ANNUITY LEAD” alert |
| VSSL Follow-Up | “Did you watch the career presentation?” | “Did you watch the retirement presentation?” |
| Show Rate Booster | 30 min before: “See you on the interview!” | 30 min before: “Looking forward to your consultation!” |
| Nurture Drip | Weekly: recruiting tips, team wins | Weekly: retirement education, market updates |
Contact Tags
Auto-Tag Every Contact
- “Lead Source: Recruiting” — auto-applied when entering recruiting pipeline
- “Lead Source: Annuity” — auto-applied when entering annuity pipeline
- “Niche: [Your Niche]” or “Niche: [Your Niche 2]” — further segmentation
- “Platform: Meta” or “Platform: TikTok” — track source
Set up GHL automation triggers to auto-tag based on which form/calendar they submit through. Zero manual tagging needed.
Chapter Six
Content Strategy — What Goes Where
This is the most critical section. Each account has distinct content pillars. Never cross-post.
| Content Type | Recruiting Account | Annuity Account |
| Educational | How to build a financial career, sales tips, entrepreneurship | What is a FIA, TSP rollover tips, retirement risk, tax strategies |
| Proof / Results | Agent commissions, team wins, recruitment milestones | Assets protected, client testimonials, case studies |
| Storytelling | Your career transformation, why you chose GFI | Why you help families, client success stories |
| Lifestyle | Team events, office energy, income lifestyle | Professional settings, community involvement |
| FAQs | “Is this an MLM?” “Do I need experience?” | “Is my money locked up?” “How much do I need?” |
| CTA | “DM MISSION” / “DM READY” | “DM PROTECT” / “DM RETIRE” |
| Tone | Energetic, aspirational, opportunity-driven | Authoritative, educational, calm confidence |
NEVER post recruiting content on your annuity account or vice versa. A 58-year-old veteran with $400K who sees “join my team” will think MLM and leave. That’s a $12,000 commission gone. Keep. It. Clean.
Chapter Seven
Ad Budget Split & Scaling
| Recruiting | Annuity |
| Meta (FB + IG) | $33/day | $33/day |
| TikTok (Phase 2) | $15–$20/day | $15–$20/day |
| Monthly Total | ~$1,000–$1,600 | ~$1,000–$1,600 |
| Expected Leads | 50–200/month | 30–100/month |
| Revenue/Close | Overrides (long-term) | $3K–$15K+ per case |
If Budget Is Tight
Start With One, Fund the Second
- Step 1: Start with ANNUITY ads only at $33/day. The ROI is faster — one $250K case at 5% = $12,500 commission.
- Step 2: Once you close your first annuity case (typically month 1–3), use that commission to fund your recruiting ad account at $33/day.
- Step 3: Both accounts are now running. Annuity commissions fund recruiting growth. Self-sustaining model.
Scaling Rules
How to Increase Spend
- Scale whichever account has the best proven ROI first
- Use the 20%/day rule — increase gradually, never overnight jumps
- Track each ad account separately in your GHL dashboard
- When recruiting volume exceeds capacity, pass overflow to your downline
- When annuity volume exceeds capacity, train your best recruit to take calls
Chapter Eight
Daily Management Routine
Managing two accounts doesn’t mean double the work. Here’s a streamlined daily flow.
Morning (15 minutes)
Check GHL dashboard — any new leads on either pipeline?
Respond to all DMs on BOTH Instagram accounts (speed to lead)
Quick glance at both Meta ad accounts (CPL, spend, leads)
Check TikTok ad accounts if running
Content Block (30 min, 3x/week)
Batch-film: 2–3 videos for annuity + 2–3 for recruiting in one session
Change attire between sessions for variety
Post 1 piece/day on each account (schedule via Meta Business Suite or Later)
Update Stories on both accounts (wins, BTS, FAQs)
Afternoon (Call Block)
Run annuity consultations and recruiting interviews
Follow up with VSSL viewers who haven’t booked
Manual outreach 30 min before every scheduled call
End of Day (5 minutes)
Update GHL pipeline stages for leads that moved today
Log daily metrics in reporting dashboard
Check both accounts for unread DMs
Weekly Review (Sunday, 20 min)
Review both dashboards against benchmarks
Kill underperforming ads, note winners
Plan next week’s content topics for both accounts
Review recorded calls and refine scripts
Master Checklist
Complete Setup Verification
Use this checklist to verify every piece of your dual-account infrastructure is live.
